Objective:To assess the value of exercise stress-rest gated myocardial perfusion imaging in the diagnosis of mild acute viral myocarditis(VMC).Method:Exercise stress-rest 99m Tc-MIBI gated myocardial SPECT imaging were performed in 68 patients with VMC and 34 cases of normal control.Result:Among 68 acute VMC patients,56 cases were showed as abnormal imaging with SPECT.The positive rate is 82.35%.And no abnormal imaging was detected in 34 cases of normal control.There was significant difference between two groups(χ2=62.09,P0.01).Among 56 cases of abnormal SPECT imaging,there were 32 cases of fixed defects(57.14%),4 cases of reversible defects(7.14%),8 cases of mixed defects(14.29%),12 cases of reverse redistribution(21.43%),16 cases of single-focal lesion(28.57%),40 cases of multi-focal lesions(71.43%).Conclusion:Exercise stress-rest gated myocardial perfusion imaging has important clinical practical value in diagnosis of mild acute VMC.
