According to the Chinese Guideline for Early vascular disease detection, L-IMT > 750 nm or R-IMT is defined as high CA-IMT, whereas L-β > 9.0 or R-β > 9.0 defined as high CA-β. All the subjects are divided into four groups. Difference in mean values among groups was by analysis of variance, and P value was listed. * indicates P < 0.05, comparing with mean values of Low CA-IMT and Low CA-β by LSD test; ** indicates P < 0.01, comparing with mean values of Low CA-IMT and Low CA-β by LSD test.
