Rose (Baj) Kempczynski went to be with her Lord on Thursday, Dec. 17, 2009.

Born on July 15, 1915 in Philadelphia, Rose moved to Penndel to be companion to her mother and made Penndel her permanent residence.

Rose was known as Aunt Rose to all that knew her. She was a kind, loving and caring person who was loved by all, always being there for everyone. Never being blessed with any of her own children, she became mother to her sister, Joan, and to many of her nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of many years, Sigmund; her brothers, Ed, Stanley, Frank and John Baj; her brothers-in-law, Steve Monachello and Joe Wolstenholme; and her nephew, John Wolstenholme.

Rose is survived by her loving sister, Irene Monachello, who was her wonderful caregiver; and her sister, Joan Wolstenholme. She also is survived by her nieces, nephews; grand-nieces and nephews; and great-grand-nieces and nephews.

Her funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 21, at Our Lady of Grace Church. Interment will take place in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. James O. Bradley Funeral Home,
